Student Affiliates

Student Affiliates are non-ECU students who are participating in face-to-face instructional activity that is not-for-credit and interacting with ECU faculty, staff, and/or students on a regular schedule on ECUs campus.

Student Affiliate Sponsor Form

  • The Preceptor or Program Director must establish the program through the Office of the Registrar by completing the Student Affiliate Sponsor Form.
  • This form only needs to be completed once for each program.
  • Once approved, the sponsor will receive an email with a link and a pin to submit the Student Affiliate Application.

Student Affiliate Application Process

  • An application will need to be submitted by the sponsor for each student affiliate.
  • The link for the Student Affiliate Application is not to be distributed to the student affiliate.
  • You will use the pin assigned to you and the link for the Student Affiliate Application for all submissions. The pin is unique to your account.
  • The form will allow you to submit up to five students at one time.
  • The Student Affiliate application requires the information below. Please be sure to have all required information before submitting the applications.
    • First Name
    • Last Name
    • Date of Birth
    • Gender
    • Home address
    • Personal email address
  • Once the application is submitted for the student, they will automatically have their information entered into banner to allow the student access to ECU systems and to get a 1 Card.
  • The process can take 2-3 days.
  • Students will receive an email with their ECU email address, PirateID, Temporary PirateID Password, ECU ID (Banner ID), and a link to instructions on activating their PirateID.
