How to Add an Overall Note to a Plan

Notes should not contain any personal student information and should adhere to FERPA guidelines. Notes on Degree Works audits are visible to the individual student and ALL faculty and staff that have access to Degree Works.
Review the How to Format Notes instructions.
  1. Click the Plan Note icon in the plan information block.

  2. Click the “ADD A NEW NOTE” button.

  3. Type the plan note in “Add description” field.

  4. Click the “SAVE NOTE” button.

  5. Click the close “X” icon to exit the Plan notes window.

  6. A Plan note that is highlighted in blue, indicates a note exists.
